Whispers of the Earth – Earth Week Celebration
“Teach children to love the Earth, and they’ll grow up to protect it.”
In a week wrapped in wonder and rooted in responsibility, our petite learners of the pre-primary section, stepped into the role of Earth’s youngest caretakers as we celebrated Earth Week under the inspiring theme "Our Power; Our Planet." The classrooms and corridors came alive with curiosity as tiny hands engaged in earthy adventures — molding seed balls, crafting thoughtful eco-inspired takeaways, and building miniature terrariums, each a living poem to the planet's fragile ecosystems.
Through poster making and elocution, our little voices echoed big dreams for a greener tomorrow. A spirited nature trail bingo transformed exploration into discovery, as children wandered wide-eyed, spotting leaves, birds, and bugs like nature detectives.
The joy of watching seeds sprout taught them patience and the wonder of life, while messy hands sculpted paper mâché Earths, giving shape to their love for the planet. A playful recycling game helped them decode the magic of reusing and reducing, and vegetable printing brought art and nature together in vibrant harmony.
Perhaps most touching of all was the Promise Tree — a quiet space where each child pledged a small, powerful act of care for the Earth.
Earth Week was not just a celebration; it was a seed planted in each child’s heart — a promise that these young souls, so full of hope and imagination, will grow to be thoughtful stewards of the planet we all call home.
