Every year, on 26th January, we come together to celebrate Republic Day, a day that holds immense importance in the history of India. This day commemorates the collective spirit of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that forms the cornerstone of our nation. The dream of Swarnim Bharat is a collective vision where India stands as a beacon of hope, progress, and prosperity in every field.
At Delhi Public School Vapi, this momentous occasion was celebrated with patriotic fervour and heartfelt reverence. The Republic Day celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by our esteemed Principal. As the flag rose high into the sky, it symbolized the pride and honour of our nation. The moment was accompanied by the salute and the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of patriotism and unity.
The celebration was enriched by various performances, including speeches in Hindi and English, highlighting the significance of the Constitution and the values it upholds. A soul-stirring group song that echoed the pride of being Indian and a vibrant dance performance, showcasing the cultural diversity and unity of our country. The energy, enthusiasm, and effort of the students were evident in the skit depicting our unified and magnificent nation, leaving the audience inspired and filled with patriotic pride.
To commemorate the spirit of Republic Day, a series of engaging art activities were conducted for the students of classes Nursery to II. The young learners enthusiastically expressed their love for the nation through creative endeavors that reflected the vibrant colors and symbols of republic India.
The celebration of Republic Day at DPSV was not just an event but a heartfelt tribute to our great nation and its glorious journey. It reminded us of the ideals enshrined in the Constitution and the responsibility we bear to preserve and uphold them.
