Rhyme and Rhythm Week in Pre-primary section
"When a fox is in the bottle where the tweetle beetles battle with their paddles in a puddle on a noodle-eating poodle, THIS is what they call a ... a tweetle beetle noodle poodle bottled paddle muddled duddled fuddled wuddled fox in socks."
Surely it must be fun reading the quoted rhyme piece. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students of the pre-primary section, Rhythm and Rhyme Week was observed from November 15, 2022- November 18, 2022 @ DPS VAPI. Our little cupids enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feelings, rhyme, rhythm and the music of words. The main intent was to build self-confidence and develop oratory and presentation skills and self-expression. Our cherubs enjoyed humming the rhymes with actions, props and puppets.
The prep class students polished their skills of identification, sorting and classifying while they were engaged in the fun-filled game to pick the rhyming words from the 'word pool'.
The students of the nursery class had to brainstorm while they were setting the puzzle pieces to complete the puzzle and post which they identified and sang the rhyme with actions.
Rhyme and Rhythm week proved beneficial in engaging the kids which is an essential component to keep them happy and cheerful.
