Monthly Activities from Grade 3 to 6
“The best way to learn any subject is by practicing it.”
We believe that activities not only help in measuring how much students have learnt, but also help in developing one's personality, self-confidence, and ingeniousness. Various activities were organized by the different subject teachers which set a benchmark for our student’s hard work and perseverance. The enthusiastic approach to these activities added to their overwhelming excitement.
The students of grades III to VI were deeply engrossed in subject-related activities like collage making based on Idioms, designing a book cover, giving a creative visual touch to their Ice-Creams, making a pulley, magic with fingers, sprouting seeds, exploring the cultural and ritual significance of ‘Kolam’, learnt tables through fun-filled card games – ‘Taming the Tables. Our young geniuses also practiced Geometric Angles through the usage of toothpicks. Teachers applied this as a strategy to inculcate practical knowledge into the young minds. Our students engaged themselves in a few Social Science related activities like Booklet Making and Manuscript Making.
This method also proved to be an innovative style of the teaching-learning process, where students gained knowledge through their hands-on experience. Our talented students left no stone unturned to prove themselves.
